Support the Clare C. Furay '91 Scholarship
Clare Furay, Cor Jesu Class of 1991, was a devoted student, a gifted writer and a leader guided by faith and service. After graduating, she attended the University of Notre Dame on an ROTC scholarship, served in the Navy and dedicated her time to the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, championing affordable housing initiatives for those in need.
In October 1999, Clare’s life was tragically cut short while volunteering in Baltimore. She was just 26 years old. To honor her unwavering commitment to service and education, the Furay family established the Clare C. Furay Scholarship at Cor Jesu Academy. This fund provides critical tuition assistance to families facing unexpected financial hardships, ensuring that Clare’s spirit of generosity continues to make a difference.
