Theater
CJA offers two all-school productions: the Fall Play and the Spring Musical. Whether you're center stage, running lights or painting sets, there's a place for everyone. Our shows are more than performances, they become communities where students grow in confidence, build friendships across grade levels and sharpen their craft in a supportive, creative environment.
Visual Arts
Our student artists don’t just create, they contribute to the beauty and spirit of Cor Jesu. From ceramic sculptures in the library to vibrant paintings lining the halls, their work brightens campus and reflects the creativity at the heart of our community.
While our growing catalog of visual arts classes engages students during the school day, opportunities like Art Club offer even more space to create, connect and unplug. Students also use their talents to enhance school traditions, like designing sets for theater productions and bringing Spirit Week to life through student-made décor as members of Student Council.
Music
Music is a vital part of life at Cor Jesu. Whether leading worship at school liturgies or taking the stage at concerts, our vocalists and instrumentalists bring energy and joy to campus events.
Students can participate in a range of ensembles, including grade-level choirs for freshmen and sophomores, and Chamber Choir, the audition-only group where students of all grade levels collaborate to perform at an advanced level. Instrumental musicians can join Orchestra, participate in Handbell Ensemble, or enroll in Piano-Guitar Lab.
Both vocal and instrumental groups perform in two major concerts each year, giving students the opportunity to showcase their growth and share their gifts with the wider Cor Jesu community. Additionally, Concert Choir performs at different venues across St. Louis throughout the year.
