Ms. Laura Gantner
Mrs. Betsey Knoll Stratton '96
Betsey is a proud alumna of Cor Jesu Academy and Marquette University, where she earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Psychology. Her career in education began as an Admissions Counselor at Marquette, followed by roles as a School and College Counselor at Visitation Academy and Riverfield Country Day School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Since marrying her husband, she has lived in several cities across the U.S., raising their three children and continuing her work in counseling. Most recently, she served as a School Counselor at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic School in Birmingham, Alabama. Now, as a Wellness Counselor at Cor Jesu Academy, she is dedicated to fostering a supportive environment where students can thrive emotionally, academically and spiritually, helping them grow into resilient, confident young women.

Mrs. Becky Ford Haffner

Becky counsels students in all grades, last name L-Z.
After graduating from the University of Notre Dame with a B.A. in Psychology and English, Becky earned an M.A. in English Literature from Washington University in St. Louis, teaching Writing 1 to first-year students while in graduate school. For the next 11 years, she taught English, including ACC & AP courses, at St. Vincent High School in Perryville and Crossroads College Preparatory School. In 2019, Becky also became the College Counselor at Crossroads. She earned a certificate in college counseling through Teachers College at Columbia University.
