Charism Connection
What is Charism Connection?
Charism Connection is a five-day experience in the summer that brings together students from Cor Jesu Academy and Sacred Heart Academy (CJ's sister school in Hamden, CT) to further embrace and advance the charism of Blessed Clelia Merloni, foundress of the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
The goal of the program is to bring together young people, who already share the charism of the Apostles of the Sacred Heart in their schools, to live the message of the Gospel in their own lives, share it with others and become student leaders who help the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus spread Clelia’s charism in both school communities. This program will also foster growth and enhance each participant's own spiritual life.

Program Requirements
Each student involved in Charism Connection must attend and participate fully in the five-day summer program held at the ASCJ Motherhouse in Hamden, CT. Participants are expected to collaborate on and determine activities that will provide charism immersion experiences at each school. The students are also expected to work closely with their respective campus ministry programs to plan and lead charism activities throughout the next school year, as well as meet periodically for service activities and spiritual growth activities.
Cost
Students who participate will be asked to contribute $200 toward the expense of this trip. Other costs, except a few personal expenses, will be covered by Cor Jesu Academy.

You will be informed via your Cor Jesu email by TBD as to whether or not you are invited to be a participant in this summer's Charism Connection.
Dates and applications for 2019 will be available in March through Theology teachers.
Charism Connection is open to students in the Classes of 2020 and 2021. Six students will be selected to participate as a Charism Connection 2019-20 team member.

- Discuss this commitment with your parents
- Answer the application questions completely
- Put a hard copy of your completed application in Sr. Barbara's mailbox by TBD.
