Tell me more about the Co-Op!

The Technical Engineering Co-Op Program is a 6-8 month commitment to work at a Watlow manufacturing site. The Technical Engineering Co-Op will focus on growing and developing technical skills in design, testing, automation, product development.
You will collaborate with mentors, team leaders, project leaders, and other engineers while being hands on with strategic projects to the business. PLUS – you’ll be building long lasting friendships with other new Co-Ops in the program.

What are the qualifications to apply?
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, electronics, computer engineering or a related engineering degree
• Availability to start June 2019 or January 2020
• Prior internship/co-op experience preferred

Additional Requirements
• Able work in the U.S. legally without employment sponsorship
 
Operations Co-Op Program

The Operations Co-Op Program is a 6-8 month commitment to work at a Watlow manufacturing site. The Operations Co-Op will focus on learning continuous improvement (CI) in areas of manufacturing, quality & process engineering, supply chain, and safety.
You will collaborate with mentors, team leaders, project leaders, and other co-ops while being hands on with strategic CI (continuous improvement) projects to the business. PLUS – you’ll be building long lasting friendships with other new Co-Ops in the program.

What will you be doing?
Growing your Operations Expertise – You’ll be gaining exposure and understanding on how continuous improvement impacts production and developing a strong foundation in operations and leadership.
Applying Classroom Theory to Real Life – Using the learned theory and applying to real life projects and mastery. Finding solutions to problems that don’t have defined solutions. Working on strategic initiatives to the business and vision. Real deadlines. Real customer interaction. Real solutions.

What are the qualifications to apply?
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in operations management, engineering management, industrial engineering, business or a related degree
• Completed 4 semesters by the start of the co-op
• Availability to start in June 2019 or January 2020
• Prior internship/co-op experience preferred

• You have a strong interest in operations and management
• Able work in the U.S. legally without employment sponsorship
