Scholar Bowl Is Headed To State!

The 2020-2021 season for the Scholar Bowl team had a very different look due to COVID.  After a fall where the girls could only do virtual practices and tournaments, the team was very excited to participate in their first in-person competition at the Class 4 District 3 tournament on April 17 at DeSmet.

The girls won the tournament with victories over DeSmet and Nerinx Hall. The Scholar Bowl team followed the win at Districts with a victory in the Sectionals tournament on April 27 by defeating St. Francis Borgia with a score of 180 to 150.

A special thank-you goes to faculty members Dr. Tom Curran and Mr. Jim Gioia who helped officiate.
 

The 2020-2021 Scholar Bowl team consists of Clare Kellmeyer, Bridget Noonan, Abby Noonan, Katie Noonan, Ellie Wich, Hannah Clemens, Caitlin Torralba, Theresa Doan, Olivia Evers and KatieMarie Anderson and is moderated by Mrs. Katie Mulhall.
 

The girls move on to the State semifinals where they will face St. James on May 7 at 1:00 p.m.
