On Thursday, May 13, the Class of 2021 was honored for their accomplishments at the annual Honors Convocation ceremony.

In the highlight of the evening, Emily Pozzo was named as the recipient of the Clelian Award. This award, the highest award given to a graduating senior, is bestowed in honor of Blessed Clelia Merloni, the foundress of the Apostles of the Sacred Heart. It is given to a senior who exemplifies the charism of the Apostles of the Sacred Heart and the ideals of Cor Jesu Academy.  Elizabeth Lorson was named as the recipient of the Sr. Anita Marie Giampetro Service Award. Named in honor of Sr. Anita Marie Giampetro, ASCJ, Cor Jesu’s founding principal, this award is given to a senior who demonstrates the true spirit of Cor Jesu and who exemplifies Sr. Anita Marie’s generous and caring attitude in outstanding service to Cor Jesu Academy.
