Congratulations to Cor Jesu Alumna Karen Calcaterra ’94 for being named the 2021 High School Principal of the Year by the St. Louis Association of Secondary School Principals (SASSP). Karen is principal at Lafayette High School in the Rockwood School District.
The awards program recognizes exemplary performance among secondary school principals who have succeeded in providing high-quality learning opportunities for students. The St. Louis Association of Secondary School Principals includes 31 school districts and private schools throughout the St. Louis metro area.
Karen has served as principal of Lafayette High School for five years and previously was an assistant principal in the Parkway School District and a special education administrator in the Pattonville School District.
