CJA Students Attend State of the Union Address

Each year, CJA history teacher, Dr. Brian Hohlt, takes a group of students on the Close Up - Washington D.C. Educational Programs trip where the group uses Washington, DC, as a living classroom, making personal connections with the people and institutions that embody our nation's past and present. This year was extra special, as two CJA students were invited by CJA alumna, Congresswoman Ann Wagner '80, as her guests to the 2023 State of the Union Address last night! Campbell Kenney '24 and Maggie Hamel '24 were thrilled to have this rare opportunity! The rest of the CJA group was invited to watch the Address in Wagner's office. What an unforgettable experience for all!
