Chargers make their mark at the State Track Meet with a school record and an event champion!

The Charger Track & Field team ended their season with an 11th place finish at the MSHSAA Class 4 State Championship Track and Field Meet in Jefferson City. Francie Luna earned 1st place in the 1600 Meter run and the 4x800 Meter Relay team of Eva Morie ‘23, Adie Luna ‘23, Maria Luna ‘24 and Francie Luna ’22 set a new school record with a time of 9:15.15.

Kaylee McMahon ‘23 – Pole Vault – 5th Place
Francie Luna ’22 – 3200 Meter Run – 3rd Place
Adie Luna ’23 – 3200 Meter Run – 6th Place
Olivia Carpenter ‘24 – Discus – 15th Place (tie)
Amy Varghese ‘22 , Anna Stoeckel ‘23, Mackenzie Lorms ‘23, and Kate Eilerman ‘24 – 4x200 Meter Relay – 16th Place
