Cynthia is a graduate of St. Louis University with a B.A. in Communication and Minor in Marketing. She has spent over two decades working within the education sector in a variety of areas including community engagement, consulting and advancement. With a passion for helping students explore and discern their futures, she piloted the Cor Jesu Corporate Partners Initiative in 2013 and oversees its ongoing growth and integration within the CJ student experience. Cynthia has held leadership roles in strategic planning, problem solving and consensus building within a variety of organizations including Washington University in St. Louis, the Archdiocese of St. Louis and Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri.
Pam counsels freshmen with last names A-L and sophomores, juniors, and seniors with last names A-K.
Pam has held positions as a math teacher, school counselor, school psychological examiner and college counselor for over 20 years. She received her B.S. in Mathematics Education form Kansas State University and M.S. in K-12 School Counseling/Personnel Services from Kansas State University. She completed graduate course work at University of Missouri-St. Louis to gain Missouri certification as a School Psychological Examiner as well as obtaining Missouri certification in Mild/Moderate Cross Categorical (Special Education). Additionally, Pam is a National Certified Counselor and National Certified School Counselor.
Teresa counsels freshmen with last names M-Z and sophomores, juniors and seniors with last names L-Z.
Teresa received her B.S. in Education from Missouri State University. She worked at both elementary and secondary levels until receiving her M.A. in Guidance & Counseling from Southeast Missouri State University in 1988. Teresa has served as a high school guidance counselor for more than 20 years in both public and private schools. Additionally, Teresa has Missouri certification as a School Psychological Examiner.
Laura counsels freshmen with last names M-Z and sophomores, juniors and seniors with last names L-Z.
After graduating from Cor Jesu Academy in 2003, Laura received her B.A. in both Psychology and English Composition from Truman State University in 2007. She then received her M.A. in Counseling and Family Therapy with emphasis in School Counseling from Saint Louis University in 2010. She started working at Cor Jesu Academy as a school counselor in the fall of 2010, and for a few years, she also saw clients in private practice. Laura is a Licensed Professional Counselor and maintains National Certified Counselor designation. Laura is passionate about issues such as stress management, healthy relationships, and suicide prevention.
Cassie counsels freshmen with last names A-L and sophomores, juniors, and seniors with last names A-K.
After graduating from Cor Jesu Academy in 2013, Cassie received her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Central Missouri in 2016. She then received her M.Ed. in School Counseling from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2018. Cassie is a National Certified Counselor and is passionate about issues such as trauma-informed care, diversity & inclusion, academic success, and healthy self-image.
Bridget graduated from the University of Rochester with a B.A. in English and a B.S. in Psychology, as well as a Masters in English and a Masters of Arts in Teaching. She worked in U of R’s Office of Admissions before working as a College Counselor for Flint Hill School, just outside of Washington D.C. Bridget also taught AP English and eventually served as Assistant Director of the Upper School. Since, she has been a consultant, assisting students and their families with the college application process.
