University of Kansas - Visual Art Day

Our goal for Visual Art Day this year is to connect with those students of yours who are really considering studying art in college - although anyone is welcome to come. We will include campus and museum tours, an informational session for parents/guardians, a panel discussion with current KU art students, and a variety of afternoon workshops in our studios. Western Illinois University - Junior Bus Tour

On Thursday, April 20th, Western Illinois University has reserved a charter bus to bring 50 amazing St. Louis juniors to our campus. This is a one day trip that will include transportation to our Macomb campus, a student led campus tour and lunch in a dining center. To participate in this bus tour a student must be a high school junior, hold a cumulative GPA of a 3.0 or higher, and have an interest in seeing what WIU has to offer. A completed registration form and participation waiver must be submitted by April 1st, 2017. To complete a registration form, click here. Webster University - Central Region Audio Student Summit

Our Central Region Audio Student Summit is an incredible opportunity for high school students; whether they’re already interested in professional audio, or open to exploring it. Guest speakers, featuring 14 time Grammy Award winner Richard King and President of the Audio Engineering Society, Alex Case will be presenting on various panels along with many others. Demo rooms containing gear from industry professionals will be open for students who would like to gain hands-on experience with operating and understanding equipment. The High School Diplomats Program is a cultural enrichment experience that brings together high school students from Japan and the United States. With HSD in America, American and Japanese students travel to Princeton University for ten days of fun and cultural exchange. Trinity College Dublin, The University of Dublin and API are offering high school students a unique, 10-day university-based STEM – Physics, Technology, Engineering and Math – enrichment program, through the Walton International program. This program is designed specifically for students who have strong interest in STEM areas. Students will work alongside like-minded Irish students, STEM academics and PhD students from Trinity College, Dublin, while engaging in STEM activities such as designing mathematical functions, building micro-controlled projects, experimenting with Newton’s Laws, and more! Join API for an unforgettable once-in-a-lifetime experience this summer, living and learning in an English country manor house in true Hogwarts style! Students will begin the program with a three-day orientation in London. The program includes numerous afternoon field trips to local castles, manor houses, and villages.
