Youth Orchestra
Discover the joy of music
We are excited to continue the new instrumental music program tailored for boys and girls in grades six through eight who are eager to develop their talents in a fun, supportive environment.
If your child has less than a year of experience on a band instrument but some music reading ability, they can join the beginning ensemble to continue learning their band instrument. If they have more than a year of experience on a band or string instrument and would like to continue to develop their skills in a fun environment, they can join the Youth Orchestra.
This program offers expert instruction, performance opportunities and the chance to make music with peers. Designed to supplement—not replace—existing school music programs, this initiative gives students even more ways to strengthen their skills, build confidence, develop friendships, and nurture a lifelong love of music.
