  • What percentile on standardized test scores does Cor Jesu require for admission?

    Cor Jesu generally looks for students who achieve standardized test scores in the 80th percentile range and above. For more specific information regarding admissions criteria, please visit our Admissions Process page.
  • Do students have to be Catholic to attend Cor Jesu Academy?

    Cor Jesu considers academically qualified students of all faiths and backgrounds for admission. Cooperation of parents/guardians with their church and school can be an important criterion in determining the acceptance of the application for admission. Non-Catholic students are admitted provided they and their parents/guardians are willing to fully subscribe to the religious philosophy and program of the school. Priority is given to non-Catholic students entering from Catholic schools. Non-Catholic students from other schools are admitted on a space available basis.
  • Does Cor Jesu accept students who attended non-Catholic grade schools?

    Yes, Cor Jesu does accept students who attended non-Catholic grade schools. If a Catholic applicant attends a public elementary school, Cor Jesu prefers that she successfully completed a PSR program.
  • Does Cor Jesu accept transfer students?

  • How much is tuition and is financial aid available?

  • Are students at Cor Jesu required to purchase laptops?

    In 2005 Cor Jesu implemented the Laptop Program, which requires each freshman to lease a Dell laptop throughout her four years at Cor Jesu for educational and personal use. The current annual laptop fee is $650. At the end of the four-year leasing term, there is an option to purchase the laptop.
  • May students visit Cor Jesu before making the decision to apply?

    Yes! Cor Jesu encourages all interested students to visit the school prior to applying. 8th graders are encouraged to spend an entire school day at Cor Jesu “shadowing” a current student to learn what a typical day at Cor Jesu is like. We only offer the "Get Charged" visit program to 8th grade students in the Fall of their 8th grade year.

    Cor Jesu also welcomes 6th, 7th and 8th graders and their parents to visit the school during the annual Open House, which will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2018, from 12 noon-4:00 p.m.
