- The Charger Fund

When you support Cor Jesu, you are saying yes to the mission. What can sometimes feel less clear is where your gift goes and how it works.
Two of the most meaningful ways to give are through The Charger Fund and the Cor Jesu Endowment. Both play an important role in sustaining the life of the school. They simply serve different purposes.
The Charger Fund: Impact Right Now
The Charger Fund is Cor Jesu’s annual fund. Gifts to The Charger Fund are used during the current school year to support immediate needs across campus.
That includes:
- Tuition assistance for families who need support now
- Classroom resources and academic programs
- Campus ministry and charism formation
- Extracurricular activities
- Professional development for faculty and staff
In short, The Charger Fund supports the day-to-day experience of students and faculty at Cor Jesu.
The Cor Jesu Endowment: Impact Over Time
The Cor Jesu Endowment focuses on long-term sustainability. Endowment gifts are invested, and a portion of the investment is distributed each year to support tuition assistance for Cor Jesu students.
Think of an endowment gift as a long-term investment in the school.
That means:
- Reliable, ongoing tuition assistance
- Greater financial stability for the school
- Forming more young women to lead and serve
If The Charger Fund supports the students in the building today, the Endowment helps ensure there will always be students in the building tomorrow.
Why Both Matter
Cor Jesu’s mission to Share the Love of the Heart of Christ depends on both immediate support and long-term planning. The Charger Fund strengthens the experience our students are having right now. The Endowment helps sustain that experience for future generations.
Both are important ways our community continues to invest in the life and future of Cor Jesu.
