Cor Jesu Academy secured the 2025 MSHSAA Class 4 State Soccer Championship with a 4-0 win over St. Dominic High School at Soccer Park, marking back-to-back state titles for our powerhouse Chargers soccer program. After claiming the Class 3 crown in 2024, this year’s victory confirms Cor Jesu’s position as one of the top high school girls’ soccer teams in Missouri.
Led by sophomore standout Maddie DiMaria ’27, who scored the first two goals and assisted on a third, the Chargers put on a clinical postseason performance. Malena Anic ’25 and sophomore captain Roz Doherty ’27 added the final two goals, sealing the team’s 22-1 season record with authority.
The championship win not only highlights the strength of the soccer program but also reflects the larger success of Cor Jesu Athletics, following the 2025 Lacrosse State Championship just two weeks earlier.
“Coming in, everyone told me, ‘Cor Jesu is a smart school,’ but I wanted to make it a point that we could also play sports—and be both,” said Doherty, exemplifying the spirit of the student-athlete at Cor Jesu Academy.
With exceptional coaching, elite teamwork and a focus on leadership both on and off the field, Cor Jesu soccer continues to set the standard for excellence in St. Louis and across Missouri.
