I am so happy to share what my four years at Cor Jesu have meant to me and what it means to become an alumna. Cor Jesu has felt like my destiny since I was young. All of my aunts went here, and so did my mom, whose name is permanently on the Swim and Dive State Champion banner. I grew up hearing so much about Cor Jesu and attending as many events as I could. I always knew this was where I would end up, so when it came time to look at high schools, I only shadowed at Cor Jesu and visited just one other school. Stepping onto campus for the first time as an admitted student, I felt like I was walking on air. I knew these would be four incredible years.

Cor Jesu offers so much, from strong academics to countless extracurricular opportunities, but what truly drew me in was the community. The people I have met here have helped me discover so much about myself. I have learned that I can do hard things, both in and out of school, and still find joy in the process. Being surrounded by so many talented and supportive young women has opened the door to endless opportunities for growth.

Thinking about how little time we have left here is bittersweet. I am excited for what comes next, but it is hard to close this chapter. We still have so many memories ahead, including Spirit Week, prom, graduation, and even reunions down the line, yet it is hard to believe how quickly the time has passed. Freshman year feels like last week, and junior ring feels like yesterday. I cannot imagine spending these four years with anyone else. I truly believe God brought each of us together for a reason, and because of that, we will always be connected. The memories I have made alongside you will always be some of my favorites. Celebrating moments like a clean sweep at Funderwear almost every year felt especially meaningful because I shared them with all of you.

Each day here, with all its highs and lows, has been a gift. I am so excited to see where life takes each of you, and I know you will go on to do wonderful things. Congratulations, Class of 2026.
