Meet Duo Dog Tracker: Cor Jesu’s New Dog Supporting Student Wellness

Cor Jesu Academy is thrilled to welcome the newest member of our school community: Duo Dog Tracker, a full-time facility dog trained by Duo Dogs, a St. Louis-based nonprofit that provides highly trained assistance dogs for schools, hospitals and service organizations.

Tracker joins Cor Jesu as part of our commitment to supporting student mental health, wellness and emotional development. As a professionally trained Duo Dog, Tracker is uniquely prepared to work in school settings. Some of his responsibilities include: helping reduce stress, building emotional resilience and providing comfort to students throughout the day.

Unlike service dogs trained for one individual, facility dogs like Tracker are integrated into the school environment to support a broader community. Tracker will be present in classrooms, common areas and even counseling offices, offering comfort and encouragement during tests, transitions or tough days.

Cor Jesu’s partnership with Duo Dogs ensures that Tracker is well-trained, well-loved and ready to make a lasting impact.
