After four jam-packed days of hard work, team bonding and high-energy performances, the Cor Jesu Dance Team returned from National Dance Alliance Camp with plenty to celebrate.
Led by coaches Andrea Manfrede and Caitlin Chau '20, the team earned Superior ratings for both their Home and Team routines, also earning Gold in the Elite Medium Varsity division, the top honor for this category. In addition, they received a coveted bid to Nationals and the Spirit Stick, a symbol of positivity awarded to teams who embody enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout the weekend.
Beyond team awards, many individuals Chargers were recognized for their skill and spirit:

- Turns: Shalie and Madison
- Leaps & Jumps: Adriana, Hannah, Madison and Bella
- Hip Hop: Nora
Technique: Adriana and Nora
Sportsmanship: Bella
All-American: Katie Beth and Madison
Pin-It-Forward: Alex, recognized for her unwavering encouragement and love for her team, even while sidelined with an injury
The highlight of the week came when captain Katie Beth Terrill '26 received the camp's only "Excellence in Leadership" award and was invited to join the NDA staff next summer. This is an incredible honor reflecting her drive, leadership and positive impact on her teammates.
"We are so proud of the growth we saw in each dancer this week," the coaches shared.
Now, the Charger Dance Team enters the school year full of momentum! We can't wait to see what lies ahead for this team.
