A Day in the Life of Sister Teddy

Home

Sr. Theodore runs Cor Jesu Academy's library and is lovingly known as Sr. Teddy to the student body and staff!

If you were to see a day through Sr. Teddy's glasses, you would know how hard she works. Each day she works organizing some of CJ's 18,000 library books, sorting mail in the office, praying for the students and faculty, leaving inspiring notes for people in need, and constantly straightening the chairs.

Sister Teddy's Freetime:
  • Baking (especially breads...with yeast)
  • Watching Judge Shows (Judge Judy, Law and Order...she calls them "her judges")
  • Teaching herself how to play the piano
  • Reading

Do you ever wonder how the library chairs are always in order or how the trash mysteriously disappears?? Well, the hero behind these acts is SR. TEDDY!!!!!!!! She always has an open heart and graciously accepts the task of opening her library for various occassions and dinners. She works hard to make the library a welcoming environment for students' last minute study sessions. Sr. Theodore is constantly giving her time and talents to the Cor Jesu community--she is always willing to help where she can.

"There isn't anything that Sister Teddy will not do to help!"-Margie

Thank you for all of your generosity during your 32 years of service at Cor Jesu Academy! We will miss you!
