A Cor Jesu education is centered around God and
the Church, which gives students a solid foundation of faith for
the rest of their lives. The Sisters who teach at Cor Jesu are
Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and their devotion to the
Sacred Heart can be seen and felt everywhere. On the first Friday
of every month, the entire school community celebrates Eucharistic
liturgy. To further strengthen their faith, students participate
in yearly class retreats and volunteer to help others through
a variety of service projects and co-curricular activities.
Because they are educated both mentally and spiritually,
Cor Jesu students make a difference in the world.
The school community's goal is to bring its
mission statement to life: "By experiencing and sharing the
love of the heart of Christ, the students become women of compassion
and integrity, whose Christian values are reflected in decision-making,
conduct and service to others."
